For me it’s like choosing friends to take on a five-day cruise. Obviously you don’t want to leave a man . . . er, author behind.

Nevertheless, pictures will be taken in full. Dasad has already refused to be photographed, which may compromise his identity in several ill-conceived zoo robberies as well as dozens of elicit affairs with notable members of state across the continent. Luckily with a little photoshopping we’ll make due . . .

I take lots of books on vacation with me…so the more the merrier! To Hilton Head I think I took 5 books and got a chance to read 3 1/2. I initially packed 7 but read 2 before I left…the downside of packing early. You should also pack magazines. They are lighter and more flexible, making them easier to pack. I hope you have an awesome trip! Remember to blog while you are out there and take lots of pictures. Do you want to borrow the big camera so you can take lots of photos quickly??

Tiff, my sister-in-law, called me on that one when the blog first opened, but I’m still not sure what to make of it. I wrote down the quote several years ago, but since then have been unable to locate it, lost among the flotsam of several years worth of academia. The web hasn’t helped either and to this day I’m not sure if the mistake is intentional (if so, Mr. Twain was quite subtle) or my banner was the victim of a typing mishap (far more likely).

Since then I’ve left it as a joke, but since you, Davis, are the first to notice over two years, the change must be made. Subtlety is like chocolate mousse, good in small portions; too much and you just end up looking fat and stupid.
